Endeavouring to meet needs in the community. Showing forth the excellency and love of God, the Creator of heaven and earth, working in us to for the redemption of mankind, through his son Jesus Christ.

John 3: 16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

 

Arise has two strands -

 

(1) Arise Fellowship - Regular Weekly Church Services & community initiatives working with likeminded organisations and groups Initiatives, Friends of the Caribbean, The Wisdom Principle,  YMCA,  Feeding Programme - supporting our local Food Bank, Working with our local community providing meals for Senior Citizens: and 

 

(2) Arise4You - Community Initiatives  Bringing people in communities together, encouraging cohesion, socialising, debating.  You can see more about this work under "Projects".   We do:  Health Promotion, Mentoring, Motivational Speaking.

 

Pastor Cowell has been in ministry from her youth, working with the community in various roles, such as Chair of Governors for the local school, Parish Councillor, Chair of her Community Association and much more. To her credit set up a very successful Football club in the Conniburrow Community from 2015 to 2022, qualified as a football coach and  endeavouring to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

 

Community  -  Making a difference, giving back to the community is of paramount importance. Our communities are diverse, different strokes for different folks.  We aim to find ways of encouraging cohesion whilst maintaining one's  Christian and cultural identities.
